Our 16-Year Journey of Grassroots Impact
2010 | The Early Foundation: Upon completing high school, our founder established the first structured Islamic education initiative in Khalalio village. Operating without physical classrooms, the community secured permission to utilize public primary school rooms after regular hours to ensure local children had access to learning.
2019 | National & Presidential Recognition: Our community’s consistency caught the attention of regional leadership. The Area MP organized a historic fundraising ceremony attended by high-profile national figures—including Kenya’s current President. This milestone event catalyzed our infrastructure transformation.
2020–2022 | Structural Growth: Through the combined contributions of national leaders and the local community, we successfully constructed permanent classrooms and a central Masjid. We established three specialized Quran Tahfiid sections, including a dedicated, fully subsidized track for our 30 resident orphans.
2023 | Secular CBC Curriculum Integration: To provide a holistic educational foundation, we expanded our facility to integrate a registered secular school running the official Kenyan CBC curriculum, which has successfully grown to serve children.
2025–Present | Transitioning into Almidrar Foundation: To address scaling challenges—including the 35km daily commute for our educators from Mandera town, introducing child feeding programs, and unlocking the river basin's farming potential—we formally registered Almidrar Foundation as a compliant NGO (Reg: NGO-QDUKK7G).

Responsible for legal compliance, strict administrative governance, and ensuring absolute transparency and accountability in all financial and donor funding logs
Managing on-the-ground project execution in Khalalio, overseeing our field child welfare workers, education officers, and coordinating grassroots agricultural initiatives.
